Returns
Fourteen days, in the condition sent.
A UK order bought at a distance may be returned within 14 days, counted from the day after delivery. The stones on this site are samples, so there is nothing here to send back.
Changing your mind
The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give that 14 days. The stone comes back unworn, in the condition sent, with any report that came with it.
If you change your mind, return postage is yours. Insure the parcel for the full price. If the stone was misdescribed, the studio pays for the return.
Damage
If a stone arrives damaged, write first and send photographs. Do not post it uninsured, and do not reset or recut it.
Minor oil in an emerald is a stated treatment, not damage. Oil can dry over years. The page for that stone says so.
How to start
Write before you post, to jefferiesoflondon+atelier@gmail.com. Name the stone and the reason. The reply gives the return address and how to insure the parcel. The form on the contact page does not send mail.
